As a major focus of REACH regulation, the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) has undergone multiple updates since REACH came into effect. On January 15, 2019, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) added a new batch of 6 substances to the SVHC candidate list, bringing the total number of substances on the SVHC candidate list to 197. Add 6 new SVHC candidate substance information as shown in the table below

If any SVHC candidate substance with a concentration greater than 0.1% is present in the "goods" category of products placed on the EU market, EU manufacturers or importers shall fulfill the obligations of notification and notification under the REACH regulation: they shall provide relevant information to consumers within 45 days of receiving consumer inquiries; When the content is greater than 0.1% and the total amount of the substance entering the EU is greater than 1 ton per year, EU producers or importers must first notify ECHA before the product can be sold in the EU market. If products of the "substance or mixture" category (such as coatings, inks, etc.) contain SVHC candidate substances, manufacturers should provide downstream users with Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
